by Michael Abdoney - 06/01/2023 -Tampa

Welcome to the Escape Tiny Home Village in Tampa Bay, where minimalist living meets eco-friendly sustainability. Founded by Escape Homes CEO Dan George Dobrowolski, Design Consultant Kelly Davis, and Bill Kurshinsky, this unique concept has captured the hearts of many seeking a simpler and greener way of life. Originally featuring ten custom-built tiny homes, the demand for this innovative community soared, leading to the announcement of an exciting new multimillion-dollar expansion.

Expanding the Village

Escape Tampa Bay Village is just off a new, lighted four-lane road at 11008 US-301 in Thonotosassa. The initial project's success spurred the decision to create a larger expansion adjacent to the original village. The Oaks, the newest addition, is set to triple the size of the community, offering 23 new affordable and sustainable Escape tiny homes.

Impeccable Eco-Friendly Designs

Each village unit has been thoughtfully designed with architectural precision, providing a perfect balance of convenience and comfort. The new expansion, The Oaks, will showcase the most popular Escape tiny home designs, including the company's first mid-century modern tiny home, Escape N1, and the original design that inspired all others, the Escape Classic.

Modern Amenities and Facilities

Escape Tampa Bay Village takes sustainability seriously. All units boast climate control and private laundry facilities. Furthermore, the entire property has undergone renovation, with new utilities in place. Water, sewer, and garbage/recycling services are included in the rental fees, making eco-conscious living even more accessible. Additional Space units on-site provide residents with private workspaces or relaxing retreats.

Affordability and Convenience

The allure of tiny home living lies not only in its eco-friendliness but also in its affordability. At The Oaks, home purchase prices start at $500 per month, with an average monthly lot rental fee of $625, including water, sewer, garbage/recycling services, and designated parking. The total cost of $1125 per month is over 35% less than the median apartment rental rate, making it an enticing option for those seeking cost-effective living without compromising comfort.

Embracing Sustainable Practices

The village is more than just a housing community; it's a commitment to sustainability. Some units even use solar power, further reducing the carbon footprint of its residents. Escape Tampa Bay aims to inspire its residents and visitors to adopt greener practices in their daily lives by providing an eco-friendly living space.

Community Spirit

Beyond the charming homes, the heart of this community lies in its residents. The tiny home community fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and support among its inhabitants. Regular communal events, workshops, and shared spaces encourage residents to unite, exchange ideas, and forge friendships. The communal gardens and outdoor areas promote a connection with nature, enriching the sense of community and well-being.
